The function of the Counseling and Therapy Practice Board is to license Counselors and to protect the public from unqualified practice and from unprofessional conduct by persons licensed as Counselors. The Board regulates the requirements for examination, licensing, and continuing education, and disciplines individuals who have violated the Counseling & Therapy Practice Act or Rules and Regulations of the Board.
