Section 24-10E-5 NMSA 1978:
develop criteria for the distribution of money to trauma centers; receive applications and determine and monitor the distribution of money from the fund; oversee the Department of Health’s administration of the fund and the development of a trauma system; report annually to the legislative health and human services committee and the legislative finance committee.

The Trauma System Fund Authority shall determine to hold regular meetings of the full Authority. The annual meeting will be the summer meeting each year, which usually occurs in July or August. The time and place of the meetings will be at the discretion of the Authority. The Bureau will provide notices of meetings in a timely manner, no less than two (2) weeks notice in advance of a meeting.
