Governor’s Cabinet in Your Community
A state government constituent services outreach day
Members of the Lujan Grisham administration will make themselves readily available to the New Mexico community for a wide variety of constituent service needs. Cabinet leaders, constituent services personnel from various state agencies and Governor’s Office staff will be on hand to field walk-in requests and phone correspondence. Constituents can expect a helping hand and direct assistance from state government, because this government works for you!
Available services will include:
Assistance with federal benefits programs including:
Medicaid & SNAP
Emergency Rental Assistance Program
Assistance with WIC Benefits
Assistance with Unemployment Insurance & Job-Seeking Services
Senior Services Enrollment, including Medicare
Assistance with Childcare (pre-k and before/after school)

Necessary Documents
If you’ll be attending the Peñasco event, be sure to bring a photo ID, as well as the below appropriate documents with you in order to receive services:
For assistance with any of the following:
Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Commodity Supplemental Food Program please bring:
- Last 4 weeks of pay for all applicants receiving any kind of income
- Identification
- Proof of citizenship or immigration status
- Proof of out of pocket medical expenses for any disabled or elderly applicants
Child Support Enforcement
Regarding existing cases please bring:
- Case #
- Date of birth or Social Security Number
- Identification
Regarding new cases please bring:
- Names, addresses, dates of birth, and social security numbers of all parties involved
- Marriage and divorce dates
- Court order, if applicable
